Impressions of the Camino
Content
The fotos presented on this website show chronologically the way from the starting point Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port
through Santiago de Compostela to Finisterre. Four autonomous regions of Spain are crossed: Navarra, La Rioja,
Castilla y León and Galicia.
Background
The fotos were taken in 2007 by a digital compact camera.
It is a simple camera, like the Way of Saint James is a simple way, but not easy to walk without any effort.
For me it was a perfect compromise, because when you are walking almost 900 kilometers by foot, each pound counts.
The fotos are authentic. They represent very personal and distinctive snapshots of my happy and fulfilled pilgrimage.
