The Camino Francés starts in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port at the foot of the Pyrenees. In Spain the autonomous regions Navarra, La Rioja, Castilla y León and Galicia are crossed by passing the cities of Pamplona, Logroño, Burgos and León. Santiago de Compostela is the destination of all routes of the Way of St. James.
